110. Ramayana’s Banana walnut cinnamon shake

Ingredients
°250ml milk
°1 banana
°2 walnut
°pinch of cinnamon powder
° honey (add only tip of spoon)

Procedure
Peel the banana and cut them into small pieces.
Coarsely crush the walnut kernels and keep aside.
Take the chopped bananas, crushed walnuts, cinnamon powder, honey, and half a cup of milk in a blender. Blend to make a smooth paste.
Pour the remaining milk into the blender and blend again for a few seconds.
Transfer the smoothie in a glass and sprinkle some cinnamon powder on it.
Serve chilled.

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup Wheat flour
1/2 cup leaves ( methi)
2 chopped green chilli
1/2 tablespoon yoghurt (curd)
1 teaspoon ghee
2 pinches salt
1/2 cup besan
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
1 cup water

METHOD
° Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Stir well and add curd and water to knead it into a soft dough.
°Then prepare small balls from the dough and roll them into thin circles. Then take a tawa and heat it on medium flame. cook the Thepla recipe on tawa. Cook from both sides till it turns golden, serve it hot with some mint leave.

108. Ramayana’s Nutty milk

INGREDIENTS :
°1 Cup of milk
°1 nd half teaspoon of watermelon seeds
°2-3 almonds
°1-2 deseeded dried dates, chopped
°Half spoon of whole black pepper
°1-2 green cardamom
°1/4 tsp of oil or ghee

Method:

▪️Soak the Watermelon seeds, almonds, black pepper, and cardamom in warm water for some time.
▪️ Take all these ingredients in a blender and blend them to make a smooth paste.
▪️Heat some ghee in a kadhai and roast the paste for a few minutes. Add the milk and dates.
▪️Boil the milk over low heat for 5-7 minutes.
▪️ Stir well.
▪️Serve hot.

107. Ramayana’s Missi roti ?

Ingredients :
1 cup Wheat flour (Atta)
1/2 cup Gram flour (Besan)
1 Onion:-
3-4 Green chilli:-
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
2 teaspoon desi Ghee (for roasting)
as needed Water (for kneading dough)

Method :
°Take a bowl. Add 2 cup of wheat flour (atta) and 1 cup of gram flour (besan) to it.
°Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp red chilli powder, 1tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp salt and 2 spoon oil or ghee in it and mix everything together.
°Then add 1 Finely chopped onion and some green chilies and knead the dough. Allow it to rest for 10 min.
°Take a pan or Tawaa. Heat it up. Take a dough ball on rolling board and dust some dry wheat flour on both sides of the dough ball. Roll it to a circle.
°Place the roti on hot tawaa. Roast it for some time then spread some ghee on one side of the roti and roast it for 1 min.
°Missi roti is ready. Serve it hot.

106. Ramayana’s special Tomato sauce

Ingredients
°tomatoes
°chopped ginger
°garlic
°half dried red chilli
°vinegar
°jaggery
°salt to taste

method
1. Rinse the tomatoes in water and then drain them. Use fresh ripe tomatoes.
2. Chop them roughly. Remove the skin or parts which are blemished or spotted.
3. Now in a large casserole or pot or a 4 to 5 litre pressure cooker, add the chopped tomatoes.
4. Add the chopped ginger, garlic and halved dry red chilies Nd salt to taste.
5. Pour vinegar.
6. Add jaggery.
7. kept the cooker on low flame. Stirred very well and below is the result after 9 mins. You don’t need to add any water.
8. Simmer and cook the tomatoes, till they are softened. The tomatoes have got softened after a total of 27 mins. The timing will vary and depends on the pan you use, the intensity of the flame etc.
9. When the mixture is slightly hot or warm, then using an immersion blender, make a nice smooth puree of everything. You can also make the puree in an electric blender. Make sure to puree very well.
