105. Ramayana’s Low Fat Dahi Chicken

Ingredients
°250gm boneless chicken (cut as you like it)
°1/2 cups yogurt
°1 tsp cumin / zeera powder
°1 tsp garlic paste
° 1/4 tsp turmeric/haldi
°1/4 tsp garam masala
°Few slit green chillies
°1 onions, chopped
°1 tomato, chopped
°Coriander leaves to garnish
°1 tsp oil
°red chilly and salt according to taste

Procedure
Take the yogurt and mix in the cumin powder, garlic paste, garam masala, haldi and red chilli powder. Mix with hands. Put chicken into this and add slit chillies. Keep aside for 30 minutes.

Now heat 1 tsp oil in pan and add onions. Cook till translucent and soft.

Add the tomatoes. Cook for a minute and add all the chicken and marinade.

Keep cooking till gravy reaches the consistency you like. Of you like it more dry, cook a little bit more till yogurt curdles around chicken.

Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy.

104. Ramayana’s Special Rava Appe ?

Ingredients
▢ ½ tsp Vegetable Oil
▢½ tsp Mustard Seeds
▢½ tsp Cumin Seeds
▢1 tsp Chana Dal
▢¼ tsp Hing
▢10-12 Curry Leaves
▢1 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
▢1 tsp Green Chilli (finely chopped)
▢1 Dry Red Chilli (broken)
▢1-2 Cashew Nuts
▢1 cup Rava
▢½ cup Curd
▢2 tbsp Carrots (shredded)
▢Salt (to taste)
▢1 tsp Eno Fruit Salt

Instructions
Heat vegetable oil in a pan.
Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and chana dal and fry for a few seconds.Add hing, curry leaves, ginger, green chilli, dry red chilli and cashew nuts and fry until cashew nuts turns slightly brown.Add rava and roast it on low flame until slightly browned.
Remove the rava in a bowl and let it cool completely.
Add curd and carrot in the cooled rava and mix well.
Add some water to make idli like batter.Cover the batter and keep aside for 15 minutes.Check the consistency of the batter once again.Add more water if required. Also add Eno Fruit Salt and give it a mix.
Heat an appe pan and add some oil in the cavities.
Pour the batter in the cavities.Cover the pan and let the appe cook until nicely browned from the bottom.
Flip and cook from other side as well.Remove from pan and serve hot.

Ingredients
•1/2 cups Makhana (lotus seeds)
•1/2 chopped carrot if seasonal
•1/2 cup chopped capsicum
•1/2 cup chopped onion
•1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
•2tsp mint chutney
•2 tsp tamarind chutney
•1 tsp chat masala
•To taste Salt
•As required Sev (optional)
•2 green chillies

Method
•Take makhanas (roasted) in a bowl.
•Now add chopped onion & tomatoes & capsicum &carrot & green chillies to it
•Now add both the chutney along with some salt and chat masala.
• mix well and serve immediately. Can also be garnished with green chopped dhania

102. Ramayana’s special HOME MADE DIET MIXTURE (SALTED) for TEA TIME

102. Ramayana’s special HOME MADE DIET MIXTURE (SALTED) for TEA TIME

INGREDIENTS :-
* Puffed rice(Murmure) – 3 cup
* Cornflakes -1/4 cup
* Poha/ Chivda/rice flake -1/4 cup
* Peanuts – 1/4 cup
*Lotus seeds – 1/4 cup
* Curry leaves – 12 to 15 leaves

FOR TEMPERING:-
* Cooking oil -1 tbsp
* Turmeric powder – less than 1/4 tsp
* Salt to taste
* Chaat masala – 1/4 tsp
* Sugar – 1 tsp (optional)
* Cashew nut, raisins and almond – as needed

METHOD:-
1. No need to microwave Kellogg’s corn flakes due to its crispiness, otherwise normal corn flexes you will have to microwave for 1 minutes on high power. Spread 3/4 cup of cornflakes on the turntable and microwave it. Please keep an eye that it is not getting burnt.
2. you can also roast in heavy pan or kadahi for 30 seconds on low flame and check it becomes crispy
3. Remove and proceed the same for puffed rice or murmure, puffed lotus seeds and peanuts one by one.
4. keep it in wide plate or bowl and let it cool down
5. Keep murmure on turn table and microwave it for 1minutes 30 seconds. Take out and mix it along with cornflakes
6. Then spread peanut and microwave it for 2 minutes 30 seconds
7. Heat oil in pan and switch off flame.
8. Add curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt, chaat masala in heated oil. Now mix everything very well in this species
9. Now DIET MIXTURE is ready for tea time . ENJOY

NOTE:-
* Times varies based on the microwave and different ingredients, so you adjust your time according microwave and ingredients. i have given just an idea that i used.
* When you microwave, make sure everything comes out crispy. Otherwise the whole mixture will become soggy in a day or two.
* Check for taste. Store in a airtight container. It stays crispy for more than a week
